Hyundai Sept domestic sales up 23.89% at 22,311 units
New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) Riding on the success of i10, the country's second largest car maker Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) today said it has posted a 23.89 per cent jump in domestic passenger car sales at 22,311 units during September as compared to 18,009 units during the same month last year.
The company's cumulative sales, including exports, during September was up by 67.98 per cent at 46,222 units, compared to 25,517 units in the year-ago period,the company said in a statement.
Its exports grew more than double to 23,911 units, whereas it was 9,508 units during the same month previous year.
The company sold 39,899 units of hatchbacks Santro, Getz Prime and i10, 6,305 units of Accent and Verna, 14 units of Sonata Embera and four units of Tuscon in September.
