Balakrishna to woo youths to TDP
Hyderabad, Oct 1 (UNI) N T Rama Rao's son N Balakrishna would make his political debut on October 24, in a bid to woo youths to the Telegu Desam Party.
This comes after Telugu matinee idol Chiranjeevi launched Praja Rajyam Party in an attempt emulate thespian N T Rama Rao who stormed to power soon after launching the TDP.
Mr Balakishna, son of the TDP founder would take part in the TDP's ''Yuva Garjana''(roar of the youth) in the Guntur city to create awakening among the youth about the rampant corruption during the present Congress regime and attract the youth in a big way to the TDP, party sources said.
Another son of NTR and popular actor, Harikrishna was representing the TDP in the Rajya Sabha.
In a bid to counter the likely influence of Chiranjeevi among the electorate, including the youth, the main opposition TDP had decided to involve Junior NTR also in the campaign to shore up the electoral prospects of the party, the sources added.
