Warm, humid weather prevails in Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) Warm and humid weather continued to prevail in Delhi today with the mercury staying one degree above normal for the second consecutive day.

A clear and bright sky, coupled with a high humidity level of 90 per cent, led to continuation of warm and humid weather conditions in the city. The maximum temperature was recorded at one degree above normal at 34.6 degrees celsius.

The minimum was also recorded at five degrees above normal at 26.5 degrees celsius.

The warm weather could persist for the rest of the week with weatherman forecasting mainly dry weather in Delhi and other parts of Northwest India over the next three to four days.

The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in the city during the next 24 hours.
