Ten injured as passenger train hits stationary train
Hyderabad, Sep 30 (UNI) Ten people were injured, when a passenger train rammed into a stationary train at the Nampalli station today.
Railway sources said the Hyderabad-bound passenger train from Wadi was waiting for signal at Nampalli station, when the Kazipet-Hyderabad passenger train coming on the same track rammed into the stationary train from behind, injuring ten people.
The injured were rushed to the Railway hospital.
Sources said it would take nearly five hours to clear the track.
However, traffic was unaffected as trains were moved on parallel track.
Senior railway officials rushed to the spot, the sources added.
