Strict security arrangements in Jamshedpur ahead of festve sea
Jamshedpur, Sep 30 (UNI) In a bid to prevent any untoward incident during Durga puja, security has been beefed up in the city with CCTVs installed at all important points.
Police commissioner Naveen Kumar Singh told mediapersons that close circuit cameras have been installed at all places of worship and cinema halls ahead of religious festivals like Eid-ul-Fitr and Durga puja.
The police have also directed telephone booths and cyber cafes to maintain details of their customers.
Preparations have been made to track those who make annonymous calls.
Hotel owners have also been instructed to inform the police about any newcomers or suspicious characters.
The commissioner also requested the public to co-operate with the police to ensure that no untoward incident takes place.
