R R Patil rushed to Malegaon to woo Muslims, charges BJP
Mumbai, Sep 30 (UNI) The BJP today alleged that Maharashtra deputy Chief Minister R R Patil was trying to woo Muslims by rushing to Malegaon after the blast last night.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Party spokesman Madhav Bhandari said Mr Patil would not have rushed to any other place had a bomb blast occurred there.
He charged the Cong-NCP government of adopting policies which made Maharashtra vulnerable to terrorists attacks.
Mr Bhandari said Mr Patil should also check the website created by his department wherein the information about foreigners is inadequate. He said the site is not updated since 2007 and it did not give any information about foreigners in the city and Navi Mumbai.
He said although there were thousands of Bangladeshis, in the metropolis the home ministry, which is also headed Mr Patil, is keeping mum about it.
