PM condoles death of people in Jodhpur stampede

Paris, Sep 30 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today expressed shock and grief at the death of a large number of devotees in a stampede at the Chamunda Mata Temple in Jodhpur.

In a statement here, the Prime Minister, who is here for a bilateral summit meeting with French President Nicolas Sarkozy later today, also conveyed his sympathy and condolences to the bereaved families.
