Top model hauled off street, sexually assaulted in London

London, September 30 : A top model, who was returning home after a girls' night out, was hauled off the street by a man who sexually assaulted her.

A black man with dreadlocks attacked the petrified model and tried to rape her, the police sources revealed to the Sun.

The 20-something blonde was bundled into the foyer of her block of flats and repeatedly punched before she was sexually assaulted for almost 20 minutes.

Friends of the model have revealed that she suffered several bruises to her face and body and ripped her tights while attempting to put up a fight.

Authorities believe that the attacker may have hawked her for several weeks.

A police source said: "She is in pieces."

The incident took place in Kennington, South London at 1.20 am on September 27 and was reported to the police with a 999 call saying a distraught woman was being chased by a man.

By the time the authorities arrived, the man had disappeared.

A police doctor has examined the woman and probable DNA samples of the attacker have been sent for investigation.

Though the model's block of flats is believed to be equipped with CCTVs, half of them were said to be not working.
