Mother, son killed, 7 injured in road mishap in Haryana
Ambala, Sep 29 (UNI) A woman and her four-month old son were killed and seven others injured when a van in which they were travelling rammed into a tree near Industrial Area in Ambala Cantonment today, police said.
The deceased were identified as Simi (35) and her son, Khushi.
Three of the seriously injured were identified as Happy who was refered to PGI Chandigarh while the other two, Janaki and Rajesh were taken to the CMC hospital at Ludhiana. The other injured admitted to a local hospital were identified as Rama Khanna, Jagat Bhushan, Manish and Kamla.
They were all returning home to Ambala city from Haridwar when the mishap occured after the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid a stray buffalo crossing the road.
