Mysore Palace to get hi-tech security system
Mysore, Sep 28 (UNI) A permanent hi-tech security system on the lines one in Parliament house would shortly be introduced at the famous Mysore palace premises.
Speaking to reporters district incharge minister Shobha Karandlaje said today that Electronic Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) had provided a sophisticated security system to the parliament house costing about Rs 200 crore, had been entrusted to provide a similar system to Mysore palace also.
She said Rs 2.53 crore would be spent for this security system in the wake of terror attacks. Special recognition and top priority was being given for the Mysore palace in recognition of its heritage value, she added.
A control room would be established to monitor visitors from different entry points, she said.
