MPSTDC officials to get benefits of 6th Pay Commission
Bhopal, Sep 28 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Chairman (MPSTDC) Dhruv Narayan Singh today said the benefit of the Sixth Pay Commission was expected to reach MPSTDC officials soon.
A proposal in this regard is under consideration with the government. The recommendations will be implemented as soon as the directions are received, Mr Singh told reporters here.
He said orders have been issued to provide 20 per cent interim relief to MPSTDC officials.
Pointing out that the Corporation has started running in to profit, Mr Singh said 60 historical buildings have been identified for being converted into hotels. However, the process is being delayed due to some reasons.
He said cruise has been grounded due to lack of water in the Big Lake. However, he denied that there is any problem between MPSTDC and the government.
