Hundreds walk to mark World Heart Day
Ahmedabad, Sep 28 (UNI) Hundreds of people participated in a rally here to mark the World Heart Day today.
Awareness walks and medical camps were also organised to mark the day.
The participants in the rally included schoolchildren and senior citizens. The children held placards urging people ''Keep your heart healthy'' and 'Prevention is better than cure''.
A number of leading city hospitals organised functions, medical camps and walks to mark the World heart day. City police in association with a city hospital also organised a walk.
Over 100 doctors, including cardiologists, highlighted the ways and means of prevention and cure of diseases related to heart.
Some hospitals came out with special packages for diagnosis and treatment of cardiac ailments.
