Case against NCP leaders for interrupting BSP meet
Nashik, Sep 26 (UNI) A case has been registered against two NCP leaders for Disturbing a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) public meet in Deoelali Camp suburb of the city here last-night.
According to police sources the rally was organised as part of the Chetna agitation of the BSP. During the meet when BSP state unit president Vilas Garud, was delivering his speech he expressed confidence that Mayawati will be the next prime minister. He also criticised the Union Agriculture Minister and NCP president Sharad Pawar.
Following this NCP leader and Deolali Cantonment Board Vice-President Baburao Mojad, NCP corporator Dinkar Adhav and others started shouting slogans praising the NCP president. This created chaos in the meeting. After police intervention, the chaos ended and the meeting carried on.
But due to interrution, BSP activists sit-in the agitation at Deolali Camp police station and demanded action against those responsible for the interuption.
later, a case was lodged as per the complaint by a BSP activist Dinesh Katara (27) against Dinkar Adhav and Baburao Mojad under sections 341, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
