After Dilip Kumar, Shashi Kapoor in hospital

New Delhi, Sep 26 (UNI) After thespian Dilip Kumar, it was veteran actor Shashi Kapoor who was admitted to a private hospital here today for ''medical attention''.

Mr Kapoor was admitted for a routine check-up this morning, said Apollo Indraprastha Hospital spokesperson, adding he would stay here for a day.

''He has come here for a routine check-up of ailments concerning his heart and kidney,'' she informed.

Otherwise, he is doing fine and would be discharged tomorrow, she added.

Mr Dilip Kumar who was admitted to the same hospital yesterday, is, meanwhile, recuperating fast and his condition is stable, said the hospital.

The superstar of yesteryear was admitted with high fever and tests and investigations on him were being conducted even today, added the spokesperson.

No time frame has been given for his release from the hospital.
