PM meets Pak President Zardari
New York, September 25, 2008 : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday the sidelines of the 63rd UN General Assembly session in New York.
This is the first meeting between the two leaders and came hours after Zardari said Pakistan would pursue the bilateral route for the resolution of the Kashmir issue. A Joint statement was issued which said that there is no place for violence, hostility and terrorism.
