Grover's father demands speedy trial in son's murder case

Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) Amarnath Grover, father of Neeraj Grover, who was allegedly murdered by Kannada actress Maria Susairaj and her boy friend Emile Jerome, has filed an application seeking a speedy trial of the case in a fast track court.

Senior Grover filed an application before city civil and sessions court Principal Judge V T Nalawade, praying to tranfer trial of his son's murder in the fast track court for speedy judgement.

He allegedly stated in the application that continuous media coverage about the case may adversely affect the trial proceedings.

Neeraj, creative head of a television serial, was allegedly murder by Maria and her boy friend on July seven, this year at their Malad residence and thereafter, to destroy the evidence his body was cut into several pieces and burnt in a jungle in the neighbouring Thane district.
