TDP agitation against corruption from Oct 2
Hyderabad, Sep 22: The Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) decided to launch a two-month-long agitation against the corruption in Andhra Pradesh and to create awareness among people on the 'anti-people' policies of the state government.
Addressing the press after a Polit Bureau meeting of the party chaired by its president N Chandrababu Naidu here, TDP Parliamentary Party Leader K Yerran Naidu said the agitation would commence from Gandhi Jayanti falling on October 2.
He said the party president would also begin the second phase of 'Meekosam Yatra' from October two and launch the anti-corruption agitation from a district to be announced later.
The agitation would be conducted at state, mandal and village levels.
