RYF to observe protest day on Sep 25

Kozhikode, Sep 22 (UNI) The Revolutionary Youth Front (RYF) in Kerala will observe September 25 as a protest day against the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government's move to ink 123 nuclear deal with the United States.

Demonstrators and meetings would be conducted throughout the State to mark its strong protest on the day when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was scheduled to sign the controversial agreement, RYF State Secretary Saleem P Chacko said in a release here today.

He said Dr Singh, who had promised to discuss the issue in Parliament after getting clearance of IAEA and NSG, was attempting to ''mortgage'' the country to imperialism.
