Nagaland BJP expresses concern over atrocities on Minority

Kohima, Sep 22 (UNI) The Nagaland BJP today expressed serious concern over the atrocities committed on the Minority community in Orissa and Karnataka and affirmed its solidarity with the affected families.

The party Spokesmen P Basu Damani and T L Merry said here in order to restore a conducive atmosphere for harmonious co-existence of the people irrespective of the caste, sex or religion in the affected states, cognitive boundaries between the perpetrators and the Minority community should be negotiated with insight and sensitivity.

They also pointed out that besides a plethora of vociferous resentments and written condemnations against the perpetrators, the State unit of BJP had been in constant touch with the BJP national leaders and the state authorities concerned taking firm stand that any injustice to the Minority would not be compromised.
