'Corruption no issue in Assembly polls'

Rajgarh, MP, Sep 22: Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Public Works Narayan Prasad Kabirpanthi said corruption would not be an issue in next Assembly elections. ''Opposition has been alleging corruption but it cannot be trusted unless it is proved,'' Mr Kabirpanthi told mediapersons at Bioara near here.

Claiming that Bharatiya Janata Party would retain power, he said BJP government had done several development-oriented works in various sectors including power, road and irrigation.

''BJP is not facing any threat from Bahujan Samaj Party and Bharatiya Janshakti party,'' he added.
