Speaking to the media person here, Khanal said that the traditional parliamentary system will not exist if the system of electing the Prime Minister by the people is followed.

Answering to the questions about the recent remarks of the Prime Minister Prachanda regarding the parliamentary system, he said that the British model of parliamentary system was too old and outdated.

He termed the budget presented by the government as "positive", but warned that if it is not implemented properly then a dangerous situation can arise in the country.
