London, September 20 : Legendary pop star Sir Cliff Richard, who has completed his 50 years in the music industry, celebrated the occasion by hosting a tribute lunch in the company of close showbiz friends.
According to the Telegraph, Sir Cliff, who has made it to the Top 10 UK single charts for each of the last five decades, joined friends at The Dorchester in London. His latest single, 'Thank You For a Lifetime', stormed the charts at number three this week, beaten only by American rockers Kings of Leon's single 'Sex on Fire' and Katy Perry's 'I Kissed a Girl.'
The 67-year-old renowned musician has had more than 120 singles, albums and EPs dominating the top 20, more than any other recording artist, whilst selling more than 250 million records.
