Media trying to get more manhandled in Azamgarh

Azamgarh, Sep 19 (UNI) Ripple effect of arrest of one person from Jamia Nagar area of Delhi today reached this district as the arrested was found to be son of a leading political figure here.

As the news of arrest of Mohammad Saif, who is said to be son of Shabad Ahmad, vice president of Samajwadi Party's district unit, spread, mediapersons reached his house.

While the reporters were busy to get details, a group of miscreants reached the spot and manhandled some mediapersons.

The culprits also took some of them hostage.

Following the information, police reached the spot and later were able to free the mediapersons.

The situation is still tense but under control in the area.
