Geography Channel to launch series on Indian Navy
Hyderabad, Sep 20 (UNI) National Geography Channel will soon launch a series 'Nat Geo Mission Navy Lehron ke Sartaj' in collaboration with the Indian Navy.
Nat Geo Mission Navy will showcase the hitherto uncharted world of the Indian Navy, replete with warships, submarines, missiles and much more.
In a statement here today, National Geography Channel, South Asia Managing Director Nikhil Mirchandani said, ''Our Mission properties have always showcased exceptional content, encouraging viewers to re-assess the world they live in and expand their thought horizons.'' Mr Mirchandani said the channel would take its viewers into the world of the Indian Navy. Efforts were on to choose the first lucky Indian to go on an international tour with the Navy, he added.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Sureesh Mehta said many people in India were unaware of the nature of functioning of the Navy.
