BJP will announce candidates list for LS poll by Oct 15: Kalyan

Gorakhpur, Sep 19 (UNI) BJP vice president and Uttar Pradesh former chief minister Kalyan Singh today said the list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha election would be finalised by October 15.

Mr Singh told UNI that the party has opted five-point formula while nominating its candidates. Durability, clean and good image in public, should be people's choice and favourite and his acceptability with respect and honour by the people are the few parameters which would decide the fate of the BJP workers.

He said National Democratic Alliance (NDA) had ruled the Centre for much longer tenure and is the only option in the present scenario.

Lauding the NDA government, he said it was the only alliance which was not a puppet in the hands of small and independent poltical parties, however, at present these parties succeed in blackmailing the Central government.

He further praised the BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Lal Krishan Advani and said he is the first and last choice for the Prime Minister post.
