14 killed, 26 injured in Nepal bus accident
Kathmandu, Sept.19 : At least 14 people were killed and 26 others injured Friday when a bus careered off a mountain highway in Nepal, police said.
The accident took place in Bhumesthan in Nepal's Dhading District.
The bus was heading towards Kathmandu from Birgunj and the accident took place at around 5 a.m. The bus skidded of the road and plunged 200 m down into a rivulet.
Most of the injured have been admitted to the Bir Hospital in Kathmandu for treatment. The cause of the accident has not yet been ascertained.
