Panel clears AIIMS building at Bhopal

Bhopal, Sep 18: A high-powered committee of the government has given clearance for the construction of the 27-metre high building of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Bhopal.

The committee headed by Bhopal divisional commissioner Pukhraj Maroo, gave the permission at its meeting on Wednesday, Sep 17 official sources said, adding all safety measures had to be ensured for the high-rise building.

The state government had already allotted 154 acre land near the BHEL township for the super-speciality hospital.
