Mother, daughters commit suicide

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 18 (UNI) A 37-year-old woman and her two female children aged 13 and 11 allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a irrigation well at V Mettur Village, near here, early today.

Passersby who noticed the bodies floating in the well informed the police who fished them out and sent them to the government hospital at Manapparai for post-mortem.

The deceased were identified as Selvarani and her daughters Sangeetha and Gowthami.They took the extreme step due to domestic quarrel.
