KEC bags Rs 179 cr orders from NTPC
New Delhi, Sept 18 (UNI) KEC International Ltd, an RPG group company, today said it has received two orders worth Rs 179 crore for rural electrification projects in Jharkhand and Orissa.
The company has secured an order worth Rs 124 crore from NTPC Electric Supply Company for a rural electrification project in Jharkhand covering 1,307 villages, it said in a statement.
The other order of Rs 55 crore is from Power Grid Corporation of India for rural electrification project in Orissa covering 959 villages.
With these projects, which are scheduled to be completed by March 2010, the company's order book has crossed Rs 1,000 crore mark, the statement said.
