International Surgical Oncology Congress in AP

Hyderabad, Sep 18 (UNI) The Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO) is conducting a three-day annual conference here from September 19 to 21 titled Natcon Iaso Baso 2008.

The event is being held in association with British Association of Surgical Oncology (BASO), an organisation that represents surgeons practicing surgical Oncology in United Kingdom, a release said here today.

This is the first time the IASO is hosting its annual conference in Andhra Pradesh and the second time for BASO to jointly conduct this meeting with IASO in India.

Mr Mike Connor, British High Commissioner for Southern India will inaugurate the conference with the theme ''East meets West''.

About 400 Surgical Oncologists from India and abroad will be participating in this Congress.
