Bruni wakes up Sarkozy in the middle of the night - by playing her songs!

London, September 17 : Carla Bruni-Sarkozy has revealed that she often wakes her French president husband in the middle of the night - by playing her songs.

The former supermodel admitted managing her new-found role as the First Lady of France was very different from being a musician.

"I don't really mix them up," The Sun quoted her as saying.

"I play my music then I go with my husband when he needs me.

"I disturb him with it in the middle of the night. It's a very different world for him but he's very kind and listens to all my doubts," she added.

The 40-year-old, who married the French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, in February, made the 'announcement' on BBC2's 'Later... With Jools Holland'.

She also recorded a performance during the show, which will be screened on September 19.
