Slight intensity earthquake hits Chamba

New Delhi, Sept 15 (UNI) An earthquake of 3.4 intensity on richter scale struck Chamba region of Himachal Pradesh this morning.

The epicentre of the ''slight'' intensity quake was 32.4 degree North latitude and 76.1 degree East longitude. It occured at 0342 hours.

There are no initial reports of casualties or damage to property.
