Nepal budget on September 19

Kathmandu, Sept 15 : The Nepal Government will present the budget for the fiscal year 2008/09 in the Constituent Assembly (CA) on September 19.

Reading out a letter received from the Finance Ministry, Speaker Subas Nembang has said that Finance Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai will present the budget.

Earlier, the government used to present the budget in the parliament before mid-July. But the government failed to meet the deadline this time as the political parties were busy sorting our political issues and form a new government, Kantipur reported.
