IRP constable injured in accidental fire in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 14 (UNI) Panic gripped Jawahar Nagar area of the city when a gunshot was heard in the house of a former legislator early this morning.

Official sources said today the service rifle of an Indian Reserve Police (IRP) constable Imtiyaz Ahmad, on guard duty of Ex-MLA of National Conference (NC) Mir Saif-ullah went off accidentally.

The constable was injured and hospitalised, the sources said.
