UP issues alert after Delhi's serial blasts

Lucknow, Sep 13 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has sounded a high alert in the state following serial blasts in the National capital this evening.

According to police officials all the districts have been directed to put security forces on alert and intensify patrolling. The districts have been asked to deploy additional police forces in the crowded places including markets, malls, bus stations and railway stations.

Special instructions have also been issued to beef up security arrangements at religious sensitive places like Ayodhya, Varanasi and Mathura after the serial blasts.
