Man dies, hit by a bullet during army firing practice

Jamnagar, Sep 13 (UNI) A man was killed when a stray bullet hit him during joint firing practice of the Army and the Navy at Dared, seven kms from here, today.

The Army and the Navy personnel were having a joint firing practice at Dared GIDC area near here at around 1350 hours. During the exercise, a stray bullet hit Kunversinh Damor in the chest, who was standing outside his tent. He was rushed to a local hospital here but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police have registered a case of accidental death and further investigations were on. No arrest had been made so far.
