Shells explosion creates panic in border village of Jammu

Jammu, Sep 12 (UNI) Panic gripped entire border village today in tehsil Akhnoor of Jammu and Kashmir after mortar shells exploded in the area, official sources here said.

They said mortar shells exploded in village Kaleeth after they hit the ground causing no casualty or damage to property.

'' Two mortar shells hit the ground after they missed the intended target and landed up at the village creating fear among the villagers as they thought that Pakistani army had fired the shells,'' the sources said.

Meanwhile, the villagers also demanded shifting of firing range from the village to avoid any untoward incident.
