'One Madhes, One Province' unacceptable in Nepal

Kathmandu, Sept 12 : Nepal's President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has said that he will not accept 'One Madhes One Province' call.

Speaking at an interaction here on Thursday, Dr. Yadav said that the country will enter segregation if the politics based on ethnicity is adopted.

He suggested thet political parties should focus on national unity.

"State restructuring must be in a scientific way. Let's live together mutually. We all are Nepalis belonging to different caste, religion and groups," he said.

Dr. Yadav highlighted the need for dialogue with the agitating outfits based in Terai claiming that only understanding, talks and unity can solve the problems.

He also said that the new Constitution will be democratic as it will represent all the communities, Kantipur reported.
