CBI courts takes cognizance into Information Recruitment Scam
Lucknow, Sep 12 (UNI) The special CBI (Central) court has fixed September 17 as the next date of hearing on the Information Department's Recruitment Scam and asked the CBI counsel to specify the charges levelled against each accused.
Taking cognizance of the matter, Judge anti-corruption CBI (Central) Rekha Dixit fixed the next hearing date.
On September 9, the CBI had submitted chargesheet in the court regarding the case, in which UP Home Secretary and then information director Mahesh Kumar Gupta, PCS senior officer and then additional director information Prabhat Kumar Sinha, deputy director Ram Gopal Singh Verma and Akhilesh Chandra Gupta were the accused.
