Three militants shot dead

Imphal, Sep 11 (UNI) Three suspected militants were shot dead by unidentified armed persons at Naharup Pangonthong, Imphal East district late last night, police said here today.

The bodies have been sent to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) for identification and post-mortem, police added.

In another incident, a team of Thoubal district police commandos arrested one PULF cadre during a frisking drive at Thoubal Kshetri Leikai yesterday.
