People of K'taka have changed the country's Political history:Advani

Bangalore, Sept 11 (UNI) Opposition Leader in the Lok Sabha and senior BJP leader L K Advani today said that the people of Karnataka have changed political history of the country by electing BJP Government for the first time in the South.

"It had become a notion that BJP was a North Indian party but the people of Karnataka have dispelled this belief. I have been eagerly observing the rise of then Jansangh when the first Legislator was elected from Udupi, decades ago. Now you have elected a BJP government, I congratulate you," Mr Advani told newsmen on his arrival to the city for attending a three-day National Executive Meeting of the party beginning from tomorrow.

BJP National President Rajnath Singh said that the people of Karnataka have helped the BJP to increase its stature and grow strong nationally.
