Inflation slips to 12.10 pc from 12.34 pc
New Delhi, Sep 11: Inflation for the week ended Aug 30 slipped to 12.10 per cent from 12.34 per cent a week earlier. Inflation continues to show a downward trend led by a decline primarily in food prices.
The new Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor, D Subbarao, recently said that inflation would be at the top of his agenda. The recent reduction in aviation fuel prices would reflect in inflation numbers next week, ICICI Sec said on Thursday, Sep 11.
