Several feared dead as boat capsizes in Bihar

Sheikhpura (Bihar) Sept.11 : Several people are feared drowned when a boat carrying them capsized in the Harohar river in Bihar's Sheikhpura district today.

According to sources, the mishap occurred near Bavghat under Ghatkusumbha block when the victims, all residents of Panapur village were going to immerse the idols of Lord Shiva and goddess Parvati after Karma Puja.

Around 40 people were travelling in the boat when it overturned.
