Haryana to allot land for Od Bhawan

Chandigarh, Sep 10 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today assured Od community to allot additional land for the construction of Od Bhawan and hostel in lieu of the land acquired for the development of National Highway.

He also announced to give a sum of Rs 11 lakh for the construction of the Od hostel and said he would ask Mr Jai Prakash, MP, Hisar and Ms Savitri Jindal, Urban Development and Revenue Minister to give a sum of Rs 10 lakh and Rs 5 lakh respectively for this purpose.

The Chief Minister, who was addressing a public meeting after laying the foundation stone of Od Bhawan at Hisar today, said that the people of the Od community were sturdy, hard working and self respecting.

The State Government would extend all possible help for their progress.
