Govt to review open book exams proposal
Gandhinagar, Sept 10 (UNI) The state government has decided to review Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) decision to introduce open book examination system from this year.
Clarifying reports on the proposal of the Board to introduce this system in eighth, ninth and tenth standard examination, education minister Ramanlal Vora today said the department had received the proposal from the Board and a decision on it would be taken soon.
A committee would be formed to hold consultations with leading educationists, parents and students for a final decision. Till the committee submitted its report, the present system of secondary school examination would continue, he said.
