AP govt assurance to Dhobis

Hyderabad, Sep 10 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said all genuine demands of the "A.P. Rajaka Vruthidarula Sangham" would be considered.

He said his government had already made arrangements to supply raw materials such as soap, surf and soda at concessional rates, according to an official release.

The Government has already taken a decision to waive the loans of all the beneficiaries of A.P. Washermen's Federation.

Under the Indiramma and Rajiv Gruhakalpa scheme, all eligible Dhobis were being allotted houses without caste bias Weaker Sections Housing Corporation. He wanted Dhobis who were eligible for sanction of Houses under the scheme to approach the officers of Housing Corporation concerned.
