20 per cent interim relief for MP employees

Bhopal, Sep 10: Nearly five lakh state government employees in Madhya Pradesh will be given 20 per cent interim relief from September 1, 2008 as part of implementation of the 6th pay commission recommendations.

The state cabinet presided over by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here decided to grant 20 percent amount of the present basic pay and dearness allowance as interim relief.

Pensioners will also be benefitted by this decision, official sources said, adding, the increase will be effective from September salary.
