Tata Elxsi, Discretix provide mobile TV solution

Kolkata, Sep 9 (UNI) Discretix, the leading provider of embedded security and content protection solutions for mobile devices and flash memory, and Tata Elxsi, the embedded product design Tata Group arm, today announced that Discretix' Multi-Scheme Mobile TV security client was being integrated into Tata Elxsi's Maverick.

Informing this, a company press release said the joint solution, being a modular, scalable and flexible mobile TV platform, would provide a complete, pre-integrated and fully-validated mobile TV solution to the handset vendors.

It added that Tata Elxsi Mobile TV middleware had undergone extensive field trials in multiple European citites and fully tested for interoperability based on OMA-BCAST specification.
