Prince Harry gets licence to zip on William's 175mph superbike

London, Sept 8 : Its zoom time for Prince Harry, for the royal has passed his motorcycle test and is now riding a 175mph superbike given to him by his elder brother Williams.

According to reports, the young Royal, dubbed Harry Sheene after legendary biker Barry, has acquired a motorcycle licence after a rigorous training course.

But Harry's regular spin on the bike has his security team on its toes, as police guards have to ride alongside whenever the Prince decides to take the bike out.

According to sources, this turns out to be a bit of a problem as they find it difficult to keep up with the 23-year-old, known for his speedy driving.

"Motorbikes are extremely dangerous and there is only so much Harry's security team can do to protect him," British tabloid The Sun quoted a source as saying.

Clarence House has confirmed that Harry gained a bike licence.

The 26-year-old made headlines when he bought a powerful Honda Super Blackbird, and the bike is now in the hands of Harry who's still to get a bike of his own.

The source added: "William has given Harry a pep talk on riding a motorbike on the open road. But Harry already appears a better rider and is far more fearless."

Harry was filmed riding a motorbike in the desert with fellow soldiers in Afghanistan, earlier this year.

It is being said that Prince Charles is a little sceptical about his sons moving to superbikes.

"He would far rather the boys stuck to driving cars. Harry has been influenced by fellow officers in his regiment," added the source.
