Jammu: Police officer killed in road accident
Jammu, Sep 8: A superintendent of police in Jammu and Kashmir was killed while his son critically injured when a car in which they were traveling, collided with a truck near Banihal in Ramban district, official sources here today said.
''The car was on its way from Srinagar to Jammu when it collided with the truck at Gongroo passi last evening,'' sources told the sources.
The police party from banihal police station, rushed to the spot and shifted the injured sp identified as Nazir Ahmed Sheikh and his son Mudasar Sheikh to a nearby hospital, sources asserted.
Meanwhile, the condition of his son was stated to be out of danger, they said.
